Whats up guys, i got a 90 honda civic lx bone stock automatic (o yea). Anyway, when shifting from 1st to second the shutters like crazy and shifts rough, almost like the car cant keep up with the shift, all other gears are fine. This is my first car so im not sure if its something really simple or a problem thats just gettin worse. Or i could be over reacting, after all it is a 15 year old car. Any help would be great.

Check your tranny fluid.

 

ur mounts are probably bad...thats why ur feeling ur shifts so much....have someone look at your motor while u have the car in gear...while holding the break hit the gas and see if the motor moves a lot...
