Default Shift linkage

I have a crx with a b18a1 in it and i need to replace the shift linkage because the damn thing broke into two peices. I have really never had to deal with this before so i was wondering if anyone knows whether or not the stock linkage will work. I am pretty sure that it will becasue the car was working fine but the linkage had been welded previously, i just need to know if there is a difference in the length required between the tranny and the shifter for a b18a1 compared to the stock crx si engine. Thanks.

the teg linkage is longer by about 2" depending on what motor mounts you use. i have rigged a sohc linkage to work on a b-series tranny, but it wasnt gret although it worked.
