i just got a standerd about 4 or 5 months ago,2000 civic,the question is,sometimes i have trouble when im downshifting and i try to get it into first from second, my dad sead that it wont let me sometimes because if you are going to fast, it stops you from putting it into first..anyone know the anser??

 

pretty much. you can sometimes force it, but its not good for it.
