I shift without the clutch all the time cuz im lazy driving around town. It doesnt do anything to your car or transmission. The trick is to match the speed of the engine with the speed of the transmission and it just pops in. You can go both up and down in gears. When you get used to your car it becomes quite easy. If you want to try it go from 3rd to 4th. Just drive along in 3rd take your foot off the gas and pull down with medium pressure on the stick. Once the rpms match up with the tranny speed it will just pop into gear. If it grinds you are pulling to hard at the wrong time.

Berz out.

However, rev matching isn't faster than regular shifting by any stretch of the imagination.

I do it 95% of the time on my bike but wouldn't do it in my car.

i always do that, i thought something was wrong with my car but some people say its normal. But i never tried to shift it into another gear. But anyways i think you can cuz i once did that and i grinded the gear. but imo i would rather shift with the clutch.
