got an 07 civic si..was wanting to put a short shifter on it and i found one but i was just kinda lookin at the car but not in my detail just quickly...and was kinda wandering if it would be hard to put in because i would be buying the entire "joint of the shifter" or whatever you want to call it and didn't know exactly how to put it in...if anyone has done this or anything let me know

 

i recommend going to a shop 2 get it done, but thats just me

 

I don't know how the 8th gen's are, but on 6th gen's it's a walk in the park

 

ya i had a 94 civic ex and all u had to get was the shifter not the entire joint and it took like ten minutes to put it just with all this new tech. it looked a lot more complicated so i didn't know what was goin on really
