Short Shifter Question
What is the difference between these two short shifters, i see that one has the factory bend but i am unsure of exactly what that means. I'm thinking that it means that the one without the factory bend will be further away from me but im not sure so i would like to get your input. Thanks in advance. =]

p.s. should i also purchase new bushings? i keep seeing references to them and how they make the shifting smoother.

i'm kinda confused
the first link goes to some weird shifter called a "ratchet shifter"
the second link goes to a shifter with a bend
but to answer your question, one without the factory bend (straight) will have the shift **** farther away from you
energy suspension shifter bushings are amazing, and inexpensive. do it

oh yeah, i forgot to mention, the one in the second link is actually dual bend, which is different from the factory bend, however it will still bring the shift **** closer to you, just like a single bend (factory-style) shifter. And there are single bend short shifters, as well as dual bend and straight.
