Default Is this a short throw shifter

My buddy wants to order one of these shifters off ebay and I was wondering if this is actualy a short throw shifter that reduces the throw by 40% to 50%. It doesn't actually state that in the auction. If it is actually a short throw, I might try one too. Thanks! Bill

Ya its a short shifter. I bought mine off eBay about 2 weeks back and I've had no probs with it, however I've heard of them braking. But it seems you'd have to be shifting really hard to do that.

Its a short throw shifter, but its going to stick up just as high as your stock ****, if that answers your question.

personally i had a short throw shifter. i will never put another one in. they mess up your syncros in your tranny. the shorter throw doesnt give the trans enough time to equilize the gear speed before the shift. inturn makes your tranny go uot faster...
