I know there are many different types of short throw shifters that you can get for the 7th gen civic. However i was wondering if the mandrell bent shifter was what i was looking for or if i needed one of the ones that come with the plastic box on the bottom??

with the revo is the stick shorter? im getting my b&M installed today and there will be a review shortly.
