Default Speedometer

Wassup Forum,

I knocked out a transmission swap two days ago and for whatever reason, my speedometer does not move. I check the speed sensor on the tranny.. I cleaned the sensor and plugged it back.. went for a drive and nothing.. what am I missing???

Does your odometer increase? A bad sensor will trigger a CEL.

Make sure the CEL light works. Make sure the cable wasn't damaged during the swap.
Make sure the gearset was placed back in the tranny properly. Make sure the cable is still plugged in correctly behind the cluster.
