Default Strange noise???

I've noticed this noise for a while and never really thought anything of it but its gettin annoying. Wen pushing in or letting out the clutch a sqeaky noise (like a door closing in a haunted house) comes from the tranny area (i cant pinpoint it). Yeah anyone know wut it is? Thanks

sounds like the hinge in the clutch attaching the pedal. I had that problem in my '95 240sx se. I used "Super Lube" to get the job done... never squeaked again. Dont use WD-40, all that does is collect grime. get it at your local hardware store: www.super-lube.com/images/new2.JPG

I'm sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm having the same problem, and am pretty new to drivetrains.

sounds like the hinge in the clutch attaching the pedal.

Where exactly is this?

i think its just natural..there was a post about this a little wile ago, people just used some lube to make the sound go away..i no in my civic, if the car is off and its really quiet, when i push down the clutch you can here it squeek....wd-40 causes rust too[:'(]
