have a 91 ef with around 220k on the body. i think my tranny is stock. its a 5 spd manual tranny, and the shifting cane is stripped, and second gear grinds sometimes. i was wondering how much it would run me for a new transmission, and i am planning on swapping a d15b in my car so what tranny should i be looking for?

 

used ef transmission here run anywhere from $50-$150. id recomend an si transmission.........5spd and the closest gearset available to you aside the dohc zc gearset(which is damn near impossible to find)
