i got a 98 civic ex, d16y8, with stock 5 speed tranny. my friend has a tranny witch he beleaves is from a 95 del sol SI. would there be and differnace if i swaped because i was lookin around online and seemed to find that all the gears wore the same except for the second gear is .009 differnt. mayb im not looking at the right model numbers. plz help so i dont waste my time and money.

 

you wont really notice anything. however id keep it around as a spare if your able to.

 

and also the 5th gear on the SI is .750 and the ex is .702
