This thread is old as hell, but might as well add. I talked to my mechanic a few months back, and he said if I were to get all the parts to him, he would only charge me $400-$500 labor. Thats not bad. Considering I should be able to get everything else for around $500, you're looking at a complet 5 speed swap for around 1k. Not too bad eh.

 

too add to the thread.... i charge $800 partss and labor if your dseries and about 1100 if your beseries dependant on the tranny.

 

i got quoted 700$ for labor. Im getting a free trans thou.
