Default Tranny swop

I have a d15 engine i just bought a junk 95 civic d16 motor. The tranny was rebuilt i was wandering if i can use the tranny off that motor and use it on mine?

yes... a D series tranny will bolt right up to any D motor..

Basically, it's the twin-cam version of the d16. It was available on some of the usdm del sols, as well as civic type R's. It puts down something like 160hp I believe.

Also, you should note that you can't use a d-series transmission on a b-series engine or vice versa.

so will the d16 tranny bolt up to the d15 motor?

thats a D series.... a B series will not bolt up to a D and vis versa

yes a d16 transmission will bolt up to a d15 motor no problem. I was talking about using a different series engine (a b16 engine with a d16 transmission or vice versa)
