ive been told the engine drops straight in, and all the engine wires connect up, get myslef an ecu harnes for the b16a2 obd1 - obd2 , b16 axels and center shaft. and im good to go.. is there anything else that i need.
and is the info i was given correct?

Hmm, not sure about the gear box. If you don't get the info you are after here ask your local Honda dealership if the VTI and ESI boxes are the same. Also try posting in the more used bits of the forum as I don't think many non US people check this section and the Yanks do alot of engine swaps so they know their stuff. I loved my VTI the B16 is a great engine. Good luck

Yes, you have 2 change the gearbox. Cos a 'D' series 'box wont fit a 'B' engine. Also the wiring is the same ,exept for 1 wire. You have to connect the knock sensor to the ECU. (ESi does not have knock sensor).
