I am going to swap my engine what would be a good perfomance swap like the k20 and I have a automatic car and also wondering if it could take a turbo thanks alot guys

 

what type of car do u have? i say go with a JDM b16a, JDM b16b or JDM B18C Type-R or the K20A. you can change you car to a manual, i think only on a EG though.

 

Fast as in how much time it takes to swap? Or fast as in how fast your car will be after the swap?

The easiest swap is the B16.

The fastest swap is probably the K20.

 

actually, easiest is probably the B18b. a lot less wiring. well, theres not that much anyway, but it seems to be the hardest part.

 

why would you give him only JDM engines when he can get USDM equivalents for way less $$ that can be built up just as easily, and are easier to find?

+1 on the GSR. A Type R is gonna cost you a lot of money. I think its something like 4400 for the swap + shipping. A GSR swap is like 2600 + shipping from SunriseJDM.

 

you can go to ebay and by it from a company. i found one and they are a company there name is import motor house located in florida and they have the type-r's for 2,275 dollars with 30k miles on it.

 

hey Nail, JDM motors are way easier to find, and usually cheaper. theres just more of them.

 

not here in the east. and you pay shipping up the *** to get stuff from cali over here. last i checked it was 700 bucks for shipping on an engine at JDM customs to michigan.
