Got a PS3 few months back, my first ever Playstation, don't play game much.

Heard of jailbreak, so wondering if v 3.66 can be jailbreak and would someone lead me to the right direction. SSearched on some forums and all seem to be talking in alien language, any guide for dummy like me? or if anyone in the norcal area can do this?

yeah, ive never heard of it for a ps3 either. my friend has a hacked 360 and a hacked wii, both play games that you either burn onto a disc (360) or download (wii). its cool, but honestly, I'd rather just support the industry and help keep the industry that I love so much ALIVE.

Well, once Microsoft finds out that the 360 is hacked, they ban the console from being able to go online right?

I have my Iphone 4 hacked and jailbroken for T-mobile along with a long list of other things "done" to it. Just cause I know nothing can really happen to it. If I jail broke my PS3 and they stopped allowing me to go online and play, I would have no reason to own video games any longer since that is the only thing I use the PS3 for, online COD awesomeness. Oh and I would not buy another PS3, I would just be done with it until a new-er system came out.
