racing clubs.racing stores

so i live in the so cal, los angeles area and i was wondering whether anyone knows where i could find some auto shops for different things. it doesnt matter for what, i would just like to know. and also, if anyone out there knows of any racing teams or any meets so i can go watch some street racing because i would REALLY want to get into it...let me know!
