sold my 2000 miata and im about to get 93 eg woohoo, have a few i am interested in that are decent enough for me, jus a few questions about the eg though, what motor swap would be the best for me, i like to rev high but im also planning on doing the turbo as well with some decent psi prolly about 10-15 psi, maybe later add some nitrous but i doubt it, i know the b16 is a good motor to rev high with but is the compression right to run that much psi, i was thinking about building it around 350-400hp or so... money is somewhat an issue but i have about 3g's extra i made off of my car and im prolly going to do a loan for about 4 any suggestions would be awesome thanks

In that case, I think you're going to have to go bigger than a B16.

i think a B16 with a little work in the motor, like pistons, rings, rods.....etc just to strengthen it up and make it turbo proof i think you could run a pretty high boost with it, and yo probly got enough power in all that to make you happy lol

if youre going for 350+, look into a b18c1, and its gonna be expensive. but we've talked this to death, so do a little search, you should find a ton of info, then if you still have questions, let er rip!

you'll need more than 4g's if you wanna go 350-400hp on a civic

if you want reliability and that much power get a b16 and get new pistons and rods to lower compression and add strengh, you can always overbore it a little to get more displacement.
