I am going to have a b16 soon and plan on boosting 7 psi, gsr cam shafts, skunk2 intake manifold and other minor bolt ons. I think I will have the y1 tranny (b16a1 tranny w/lsd). I know I need a good clutch. I was thinking of an exedy stage 1. Is that enough? Is stage 2 too much for a stock tranny?

stage 1 will easily handle 250 whp. thats fine for your setup. and i highly recommend the flywheel too. thats my setup on my GSR, and i absolutely LOVE it. let me know if you are interested, and ill get you prices.

 

I am interested in getting a clutch. Don't you lose a little torque and gain hp when you put in a lightened flywheel?

 

Isn't the B16 LSD only a 1.5 way?
