I have a 04 civic LX, just installed the AEM V2 intake today, everything went quite ok, just the 5/8" hose that goes to the engine was having a hard time to put on the valve.
Also the left side of the filter is touching the hydraulic hose, did this happen to you guys??

 

i think you were suppose to tie that with the zip tie, like the instructions, but i didn't

the only thing on mine that's close to touching something is the filter to the metal piece under it.

btw, the 5/8 hose was indeed very difficult to put on.
