Suspension, Brakes, Tires & Wheels - h22a spring rates

i've searched everywhere but cant find any answers so point me in the right direction if this has already been discussed. im getting a new set of coilovers for my eg h/b and want to get different spring rates to cope with the extra wieght up front. how do i know what rates to go for on the front and back (or would the back stay the same?) or is it just trial and error?

just get the next size stiffer and you should be fine

is that for the back aswell or just the front?
