Default quick muffler question, help please

hi everyone

i wanted to buy exhaust for my 95 civic ex coupe, but rsr and ws2 costing me 500$+

so i'm just gonna buy a muffler just for the sound,

1. could u help me with an muffler that isnt too loud for cops to pull me over?

2. i found this muffler on ebay for 50-60$, and it has 4" outer tip and 2.5" inlet diameter, is it too loud?

3. this 4" outlet, 2.5" inlet muffler will be too loud? or will it be not that loud? rating from loudness from 1-10, do u think this one is about 7-8? i'm looking for 4-5, a bit louder than stock muffler and not too loud like the ones you hear on the street that screams 2-3 blocks away and attracts cops

this is the link to one i'm planning to buy

I'm sorry, but that thing's ridiculous. It's absolutely the epitome of "fart can". It will be so loud, you'll want to beat the walls with your head and hands to releave the pain of the stupidity of your wasted money. Cops will flock from blocks around to pull you over. Mothers with small children will be outside the front door of your house waiting for you to come outside to throw rotten food at you for disturbing their children's sleep every day. You get the picture...it's a little exaggerated, but it works.

I suggest that you go with a twin loop muffler if your going to just weld one on. Use the search feature for this forum and read up on it. Someone just put one on about two weeks ago. They liked it ok.

Beyond that, I suggest you save your pennies like I'm doing and go for the WS2 or ex mag.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to call it that, so I can't take responsibility for it.

Like I said. Save those pennies. I've never seen anyone regret their purchase on one of those exhausts.
