What a rip off. You can do pretty much the same thing with the seat belt you already have...

Not really. It's hard to get your stock belt to really hold you in place.

Personally I haven't used the CG-Lock, but there are a bunch of local autocross guys here who swear by the thing.

my friend has one and it holds him in tight for autox, its a good alternative to pulling the seatbelt, locking it, twisting, and clicking it in...DONT use it for street tho, u dun wana get into an accident with that on.

Thanks MXS. That is the kind of thing I was looking to hear. Thank you for posting.

Why not use it on the street. Would it hold you too tight?

Whats the difference between cinching the seatbelt you already have, and putting a clip on that does the same thing? I still say its a rip off, $40+ for a clip.... Id have to try it to beleive it, but for some reason im extremely skeptical.

Edit* Maybe ill get it and do a review on it. It has a money back guarantee...

That is why I asked for people that had tried them or knew someone that had to post. That way you take the guess work out of it. Thanks for posting anyway. When I get mine I will PM you and let you know first hand how they well or how bad they work.

I live in the mountains. It hilly and there are alot of tight turns. Also in town there are alot of really tight (over 90 degree) turns. I also slide around ALOT in my stock seats.(I have a small ***, 6'2" with a 32" waist.) LOL I have tried pulling the seatbelt as tight as it will go, but when I take a turn I end up either against the door or bent sideways over the armrest. It sucks ***. I used to drive a 90 accord and the seatbelt/seat combo held me great.

u dont want it locked when ur riding around on the street because if u get in an accident, u want a lil bit of play in the seat belt untill it locks up. u can suffer from even worse whiplash than u would without it on there...theres really no need for it on the street anyways, i doubt ur taking super hard turns and doing major braking.
