Default Power seatbelt issue!

Hello, first post here! Great site! Anyways, I just recently purchased a 90 Civic LX 4 door. Everythings going good so far with it but a few problems. My passenger auto seatbelt decided to stop working recently. It worked when I bought it about 2 weeks ago, and now it just stays in the same position all the time, whether I open the door or not. Is there a jumper to fix this or what can I do? I don't have to buy a new motor for it do I? My dad got mad and slammed the door one day but I think it still worked after that. Thanks a lot!

2800th time you've done that huh?

About your question though... no idea, I don't have any experience with civic's with power belts, sorry.

Welcome!

I've heard here and there that Honda has a lifetime warranty on seatbelts. I haven't verified this, but you might give your local stealer a call and see if it's covered. If the belt is stuck in the forward position I wouldn't put anyone in that seat, unless you wanna see some roadkill after a crash...

I heard that whole replacing the belt thing is for manual belts only. Ahh this is making me mad. I get annoyed over little things like this. It's in the door shut position, so that's good, but still. I think theres a fuse but I may be wrong. I'll check eventually.
