upstream and downstream o2 sensors?
im pricing o2 sensors for my 95 civic...upper is about 30 on ebay,,70 at autozone, and the downstream is 60 on ebay and autozone couldnt even give me a price for downstream.
my question is...when i did my jeep they were the same sensor upper and lower.now they dont tell you that, but when i got them home, exzactly the same except one had longer wiring.
please tell me im not gonna pay potentially 50 bucks more for 15inches more of wire.im pretty sure i can find a cure myself if thats the case.
anybody??

They are the same from what I have learned over time. Just make sure you get the ones which have the direct plug in connectors and not just bare wires. Without the plug you will be cutting/splicing wires.
EDIT - you have a 95 civic? that is OBD1, you should only have one o2 sensor. The 96+ civics have 2 o2 sensors.

the sensor itself is the same, but make sure you are ordering the right connector(male or female). the ones I bought on ebay were 25 dollars and work fine for primary or secondary. you could pick from auctions that had 4 or 5 different lengths from 12'' to 20''. if you get the longest, you can always loop and zip-tie the slack, you might be happy to have the extra slack if you ever get an aftermarket header with the o2 hole in a different spot
