holy crap, u guys are getting ripped off for insurance. I drive a 95 cx, and i pay 70$ a month. keep in mind i have a couple accidents and a couple speeding tickets under my belt. basically, the older the honda, the lower the premiums. probably get a 88 or 89 which look good (dont go lower, they look like crap) and get a cx or dx. those should have low premiums.

 

well id say fullcoverage is worth the hassle if ya have a problem.... lets face it anything over 5K in value is worth insuring! ya dont wanna wreck it and have a twisted pile of scrap metal left!
or if someone breaks into your ride and jacks your stereo... or just if someone hit and run on your ride....

i only say liability on the vehicles that realy arent worth much if any to me! or if its only alittle more... hell with my 66impala with fullcoverage for it its only like 15bucks more for 6months.LOL and now its even cheaper since its my old school roller from time to time with my HISTORICAL liscence plate onit.

 

For me it would be over $230 / mo. at age 19 to insure the EG8 Civic full coverage, at age 21 now itwould be $175 / mo. The Cavalier is actually more expensive to insure than the Civic. At age 21 it's $220 / mo. full coverage. Goodthing I'm riding on a shared policy, which brings the Cavalier down to $127 / mo. Basically they screw you with high insurance rates until you get past age 25 because young ones and n00bs crash a lot.

BTW I sold the Civic for $250 Friday, so mo more Meen Green Honda Macheen.
