I agree but if you have a car with a club and one without, I think thieves might go after the one that doesn't have the club. Park your car next to another car without the club.

We have something called VIN Etching here in NY. The police actually etch the vin number onto your windows so they can track the parts. I know they can also break the windows and replace them but how much will that cost when thieves have to replace all the windows.

We also have a police program called C.A.T. Combat Auto Thefts. You register your car with the police authorizing them to stop the car between the hours of 2am and 6am. I know it's a bother but I'd rather them do something than nothing. It might help.

I'm also getting an alarm. All these things can help deter thieves.

 

my neighbor use to have a 89 hatch with a club --came out 1 morning & the club was sittin on the ground --as to say ha ha we got it any way --never found it [:@][:@]---but now she got a new 04 --so far so good

 

We got dealers and cars that will already come with that .

yea with the club tho i also got the viper 791xv alarm which comes with a 2 way remote. so while they are busy turning off the alarm and cutting thru the club my remote will be vibrating in my pocket, so i will be able to run out to my car and kick the sh** out of whoevers in there. unless they can do all that in less than 2 min without making it a big deal and drawing attention to himself/herself.

i will definitely look into the C.A.T. for the cali police. that would be a good idea.

 

i know a guy who bought a "boot", like the cops put on when you get too many tickets. he just puts that on when he parks. seems to have helped, his car was stolen like 2-3 times in about 6 months before, and its been almost a year since he put it on.
