hey man i did the same i have the 6 disc in dash that comes in the ex se and i kept the stock head unit and changed my rear deck speakers and added amp and subs and it sounds great you can take it up to 40 i ride around with it on 25 and bass on -3 sounds awesome tweeters really kick to just get and audio out converter tap in the bck of the hu or rear speakers (i did) so your amp and get a feed converter 20 bucks circuit city hide all the wires and you'll be fine the hu was like a 700 buck add on you would be dumb to change it out at least in your 1st year

tweeters stock if you just add amp and sub/s to start with you will be more than satisfied b/c you can hear all six speakers very well and you can here voice well too so when you add the sub the base will be there at low volume so there will be no need to ever go to volume 40 again i ride on 25-30 thats when i want to drown out the wife i turn it up and keep my eyes on the rode i peek at her out the corner of my right eye and laugh inside shhhhh..... don't tell
