Hey everyone, my 1997 Honda Civic DX still has the tape player down in the center by the shifter. It obviously doesn't work with the Alpine CD player I have installed and I have been trying to find a storage compartment / cubby to replace it with. I haven't been able to find anything but can't imagine that I am the first person wanting to get rid of their tape player.

Does anyone know where I can buy one, or, better yet, have links to some I can purchase online?

Check out a junk yard. Look for a 99-00 Civic. They have a cubby and different style cup holder for that area. It's a direct swap and only requires a little work to pull one. That's probably the cheapest way. Otherwise, check your local Craigslist for someone parting out a 99-00 Civic or check ebay. Plenty on there.
