Default 1997 Civic Ex - Stock Tweeters

Does anyone know the specs on the factory tweeters that come w/ a 97 Civ Ex Coupe? Mine fit in the corner of the door window in that triangle thing. I blew them & they need replacing.

2 ?'s...

Can the tweeter be removed from that triangle thing they're housed in?

If so, what size are they? 1" ??

Thanks!

-- oh yea, if I can't put aftermarket tweeters in there, anyone know a good website to buy factory tweeters, thanks!

I am about to replace mine as well and I think they are either 1" or 1 1/8". Hopefully this narrows it down a little further. I am probably going to have to do some modifications on my stock tweeter mounts. I plan on getting the PlanetAudio Vortex VTX63C models. But, with it I have to get those nifty Q-logic Q-Form speaker mounts for my kick panels, nice custom mod, but more money[:@].
