after i put in my aftermarket 6x9s in my 98 HX i was wondering if there is anyway to not use the back plastic deck and build a wood one to fit back there? if anyone has any tips at all any links feel free to post them, anything will help! Thanks

 

Sure, but why?

You can use the plastic deck and trace around it on some MDF or whatever, then sand/cut off as needed.

 

what are you trying to do? show the rear deck speakers off? you can take a dremel and the deck speaker grills off
