So I recently got some Kenwood 400W 6x9s, and.. I don't know how to take the old 6x9s out. I'm pretty sure you have to take the rear dash panel out, because when I looked in the trunk, the screws were facing downwards on the stock 6x9s. The only problem is, I don't know how to get the rear dash out. I didn't see any screws or ANYTHING to take it out. I was hoping it would be similar to the DIY 6x9 install thread for a 00 Civic. But, I guess not. I've just been very stumped, and been working at this for an hour straight trying to figure out how the hell to get the top off.

on 6th gen, I fold down the back seats, slide the side cushions up and out, then pop up the rear deck, unhook the third brake light, and unscrew the speakers. Might be different for your car.
