Default 95 with 99-00 Stereo

Hey guys so i have this stereo that came off a 99 Civic.
What will it take to get it working on a 95?
I was at the junkyard yesterday and was looking for the stock plugs that go into the radio, but only found one.. And the stereo has slots for 2 for plugs.

Do you guys think the Dealer will even give me the code for the stereo? lol

The second slot looks like it is for an external cassette deck. If so, you won't need the plug unless you are installing one.
I am sure someone can confirm or negate this answer for you.

^ Thanks tiger dx. Thats exactly wat i was thinking, because the stereo's came with a 6 disc CD changer.

So all i would need is:
~Get a aftermarket radio harness for a 92-95 civic (i dont wanna cut mine.. i would rather spend like 15 bucks on it and cut that instead)
and just hook up the corresponding cables from the harness to the radio.
correct?

I've never done this... closest thing to this would be installing amps lol

EDIT:
BTW any ideas on weather the dealer will give me the code for it?
I might call them today before i attempt to do this..lol

Ok so i got the unlock code for the stereo.
Now i just need to make sure i dont need the other plug..
Is the other slot next to the plug that i have (on the pics) only for like a cd disc changer? or do i need it?

Also, the plug that i got seems like its missing cables on some of the little slots. is that normal? lol

So assuming the harness you have in the stereo is just cut wires at the other end, then yes, you will just need an aftermarket harness. You will need the wiring diagram for the stereo of 99 stereo so that you know what color is for power, ground and speakers etc.
The colors might be fairly close the the new harness but hard to tell from the pics.

You should not need the second plug unless you are adding the changer.

And yes, it is normal not to use all of the wire slots in a plug.

Sweet!
I'll give it a try tomorrow! thanks.
The wiring I found and will probably be using is this... (saw it on a different forum)

Radio 12v white/blue + radio harness
Radio Ground black - radio harness
Radio Ignition yellow/red + radio harness
Radio Illumination red/black + radio harness
Factory Amp Turn-on N/A
Power Antenna N/A
LF Speaker +/- blue/green - gray/black +,- radio harness
RF Speaker +/- red/green - brown/black +,- radio harness
LR Speaker +/- blue/yellow - gray/white +,- radio harness
RR Speaker +/- red/yellow - brown/white +,- radio harness

Hopefully that will do it...
