I have a 1997 Honda Civic EX Coupe Vtec engine with Automatic.

I recently bought this car and someone freakin' stole my aftermarket stereo/radio. so i just went ahead and bought a used Factory stock radio from ebay followed by a original stock OEM 96-98 keyless entry security module with an original Honda keyfob remote.

I hooked everything up properly. I installed a 7.5 fuse for the security under the dash fusebox, dome light works as usual, and programmed my fob/remote and works like a charm.

Everything works from when i lock the doors with the remote and i open the trunk with my key, the original "horn" alarm thing triggers and same thing happens when i literally just insert my key into the ignition, the horn alarm triggers right away. I didn't even turn my key at all. as soon as i insert it sounds.

The only thing doesn't seem to work is when i press the lock button on my remote, I hear the lock actuators trigger and locks the door and a little red light flashes on my radio, but my front and rear lights don't flash as usual.

is this normal anyone else that has a similar year civic that has all factory items such as radio and keyless entry system?

So once again, when i press the lock button 3 after 1 or 2 seconds, my lights don't flash at the front and rear? Isn't it normal for a vehicle that has keyless entry to flash the light like twice front and rear?

please let me know what else i need or what i am missing like extra fuses or relays. All my lights work too flawlessly when i turn on the engine.
