Default 99 ex OEM head unit

Does anyone know if the cd player in a 99 EX civic has inputs for a cd changer? I want to know if I can get an aux input adaptor for an mp3 player without using an FM modulator. If not, do I have to get an aftermarket head unit? Thanks!

I am having a brain fart. I cant remember. I think the Accords have that option available. And aftermarket will do you good anyway. Look into Alpine or Nakamichi. Nakamichi especially matches the decor of the car including the lighting.

Yeah, it does. It's compatable with Alpine and Honda CD Changers. I haven't seen any aux inputs for it but I guess it's possable. Look for an aux apapter that looks like an Alpine CD Changer (not AI Net.)

I did find an adaptor on crutchfield, but it was $60, so yeah I might as well just get a new headunit. I'm thinking I will go with the Pioneer 480MP...

Pioneer is good. An aftermarket head unit gives you a lot of options for anything you want to do like satellite radio, subs, iPod inputs, it's just the best way to go.

well I got the pioneer 4800 (actually the 480mp), however I have some gripes about it. The screen is unreadble in the day time due to the screen glare, and it is too bright at night time! I can't find any way of changing the display brightness. I am thinking about exhanging it for a different model, but I can't find any that have the same features but without the same problems! Anyone have any suggestions for a replacement headunit to look at? Thanks.
