99 Honda Civic DX Radio Problem - Please Help
Hi ppl, my car battery died yesterday and my friend jump it for me and it worked. But then it died again so I bought a new battery and everything works fine now. But after i installed a new battery, my factory radio died. The radio wont turn on or nothing. Do any one have any idea whats wrong with it?? I have to drive for 8 hours to go to Buffalo soon, Please help to fix my radio. thanks alot guys.

I can still see the clock but when i push the fm/am or CD button; it wouldnt go on. As for the fuse, I have no idea how to do that so Im scared to mess the car up. Do you have any clue what I should do bro?
you need to get the security code from the dealership.. i dont know how much they charge for that tho.... but i know for a fact that is whats wrong with it cuz hppened to me when i first got my first civic
You need to get your serial code off the cd player adn your VIN and go to the dealer. To get the serial you need to take out the cd player and it will be on the side. The dealer will charge you $68 to remove the radio and get the serial if you dont. Otherwise if you have both numbers they should look it up for free.
