the cd player in my civic doesnt even look like a normal deck that can be removed. it looks like its part of the dash. im going to go to best buy or some place and ask questions like someone suggested.

yeah thats why the dash kit looks so bad is because it has to replace all of that but the companies didnt get all of the contours right.

i have an 05 and i bought an ipod interface over ebay. it syncs your ipod w/ oem stereo and you can also plug in an aux external source to it. neat stuff.
