I just installed a Alpine CDA-9855 Head unit. I noticed though that because of the angle of the head unit I do get some glare off of the screen during the day in my 03 civic. I was just wondering if anyone has found a way to reduce or eliminate this problem. Thanks.

I was just looking to see if there was a different mount kit that i might be able to find or something along those lines or if maybe tinting the top of the winshield would work.

Get one of those headlight eyebrows and modify it to go over the screen of your HU.

 

Wow. That's a really creative idea.

 

I installed mine in the lower part of the DIN instead of the top. I put Alpine HU where the pocket is normally at.

I have an 01 and so I feel your pain about the glare.
