Hey guys i drive a 03 civic lx its a nice DD and i want to put wheels and tires on but before this i want to get a nice alarm system. I have an auto so I want to have the start button on the keyless entry looking to not spend more than 500 installed if its a good system just name it because i always get a deal at this shop. Dont really know whats good although i understand its only as good as its installed thats why im leaving it to the pros. So tell me what you have or what you think is really nice thanks for the help.

I kinda like DEI systems myself, but i don't have one. I probably won't buy one until i have a newer civic with power stuff.

DEI is the Python and Viper systems, think they hae some other brands as well. A lower priced DEI system is probably around 300 bucks, 350 or so with remote start and the works.

Thats my .02, what i would buy if i was going to.

 

DEI gets my vote too.... if you can wait til spring DEI is changing there whole lineup...my shop is testing a beta version right now and all i can tell you is it's like nothing you've ever seen before...it will be well worth the wait...

 

Where does a guy get a look at said "bete version" ?
