RE: All In Ones
if you do not want license plate rattling bass, the only thing you could do is yank the stock speakers out and leave it like that; from factory, the speakers are capable of rattling the license plate. to avoid such rattling, with ANY sound system (even stock), you put some foam between your license plate and your car's trunk...

dynamat is the best way to keep cars from rattling anywhere.I dynamat-ed my whole trunk and theres no rattling at all, plus it cuts down on the interior noise from the exhaust.
as for you phan10m, if thats the kind of bass you want I recomend a 10" or 12" subwith 200-300 watt RMShandling and the boxwith a 300 or so RMS amp. it will sound good and give you some thump, and it won't be ridiculous

sorry 05 , i kinda tired and mustve just had a typo. But i took out the stocks and put in some sony xplods ( not reccomended) but theyre louder than the stocks just no bass. So adding a sub will give me that bass im lacking. I priced around here and i found a place that can sell a 10" box for 55 bucks. So now just the sub itself and an amp. And i have no clue where to start other than i want a 10 inch sub thatll give a lil thump in the trunk

you could get an infinity 10", its a dual voice coil so it can be wired to 2-ohms, for about $100 or cheaper. match that with an AlpineMRP-M450 which pushes400RMSor Infinity makes a 300 RMSamp, REF-1300A, that would be good too, both are around $200. it a little more than you first said you wanted to spend, but theres no doubt that it would sound good.

huh.... okay yea...... well if you're gonna do it piece style than hit up wal-mart for a 30 buck wiring kit, they used to be 4ga but are now 5ga... not sure if it's worse but it's the same stuff needed for an install as more expensive kits.
The links I posted above are not great systems but have all you need for quick simple bass set up that can be upgraded and sold later down the road.

if your only gonna be getting a 300 watt amp then theres no need to spend the money on a 4 gauge amp kit. all you need is 8 gauge. 8 gauge is rated to handle up to 500 RMSand don't get too cheap of a kit cuz they may say they are 4 or 8 guage but are really only 6 or10 guage. (the smaller the number the thicker the wire). but ya i agree with BlackDX thata Scosche kit at wal mart would be a good quality power and ground wire, but I would get better RCAs than what come in those kits. the RCAs that come with them are super thin and don't have any protection from any electricalinterference.
