So hey guys i at a point in were the engine must come out.d15b2 yea thats why i. have a lil somethin sometihn to do like 2500- 3200
i looked at some like th DOHC ZC !>^110-120 hp found for 495$
then i lokked at a b16a1 is this vtec also what hp is it 160 1300$
looked at b18b1 but was told not to non vtec
so then b18c series i know their vtec and 220 hp right 3018$
what should i do? Daily drive with an ******* behind the wheel what do you think would be the best for money and power it a 91 civic dx thank you. also i live in michigan. so if any body lives around me (detroit me) would really like to meet some fellow rice lover.

My vote is for the B16.

 

I'd go for the B16A.....lot more HP than the ZC, and doesn't cost nearly as much as the B18C.

 

Even though Sacicins calls the B18c the "holy grail of the B-series" it'll end up costing you way more than that $3,000 sticker price.

the B18 is expensive...but the entire thing (engine, wire harness, axles, tranny, mounts, everything...) can be had for about 5500...depending on how hard you look. theres a site where you can even add an LSD and they'll install it for you for just 200 bucks. then find a B16A head for 500 and put that on...you'll be set for boosting at just over 6k...a LOT cheaper than some other options you face that will match it
