amp problems

Angry amp problems

hey i have a audiobahn a8000t amp.its like 1200 watt.so my problem is that wen its hooked up to my car and speakers.the sub light comes on.but theres no music coming out the speakers.? and i hooked everything up correctly. anyone knoes what the problem might be?

if your subs have lights... thats prob the problem..... ur going to need to give a lot more details man.

so many things it could be... lets talk about the no brainers.... a wire came off.
rcas on the back of the front radio...
rca wires on the amplifier on the wrong INPUT....
wires on the amplifiers outputs are not correct...
wire going to the box terminals, or box terminals busted inside the terminal plastic piece, wire on the inside of the box came off, a wire going to the subwoofer came off....

multiple problem areas for a simple mistake or loose wire.
easiest way is to tell if the subwoofer wires is use a ohmload tester on the amplifiers subwoofer wires... if it reads ZERO then trace those wires to the subwoofer.

im thinkin its the terminals.because everything is hooked up correctly.
u guys know how much it is approx to get it repaired?

nothing if you get off your butt and go track down the wires yourself.
