Question audio fuse under hood blown

2007 Civix EX - recently my son used my car and played the radio extremely loud and the sound cut out while driving (stock am-fm-cd). Now I get power to the head unit but no sound. I found that the #17 (audio) fuse was blown and replaced it. Each time I put a new fuse in, it blows (this really does blow). Any ideas??

See if your system has a separate amplifier, it is likely blown shorted and needs replaced. Part #5 here:

Anybody know how to get at it? I read that the amp is located behind the center console.
