This might be 1 reason why my audio sucks.

17 year old speakers maybe?

lol I think the missing surround is the main key problem with that speaker..... looks like time to upgrade to something new and better....

I bought those cheapo $8 speakers at wally world. nothing fancy yet, just got it forfunctionality.

looks like a 6 by 1/2 speaker if your already shopping at wally world go to automotive section and pick up a 40 dollar pair of pioneer 6 by 1/2s. there 220w 55rms. basically unlees you upgrade to componet style this is what all coaxial speakers will rate for power for the size of the speaker you have. and the same speakers that i mentioned are 125 dollars at best buy! go to wal mart and buy them for 40 bucks you will get fairly decent midbass and crisp highs.
