Bass Blockers; should i?

The only time i used bass blockers, they sucked. On a low note, you could hear your speaker cut out. I'd sugest buying a cross over, they are not that expensive.

a bass blocker is just a passive crossover

you can get them in varied db/octave amounts, to hinder the cutoff slope

dont think you could use crossover for his situation.. as i assume he is running his 6X9's off his head deck.. if not then yeah you should deffinantly have a xover

Ok so i ordered the bass blockers, recieved them a couple days ago.

Took some tuning, ended up having to turn off the LPF on my sub all the way, no pass filter for it. Sounds ****ing amazing. Thank you. A true difference, much more power out of my speakers now. Just need to get them for my front door speakers.
