hey so i have a 94' DX without cruise control but i got the cruise control buttons from the junk yard and ordered this cheep little wired ipod remote and what i want to do is interface the cruise control buttons with the ipod remote so i can skip tracks using the cruise control buttons. looking at the civics in the junk yard it looks like those cruise control buttons use the same ribbon wire as the srs system? scary! is there a better way to run wires through the steering wheel than tapping into that ribbon wire? and if not can someone tell me what wires i need to tap into on the ribbon wire on the steering wheel side and the steering column side of the whole steering setup? or have you heard of anyone doing something like this before and have a write up? any info would be helpful, thanks guys.
