Default The Big Three

Hi im looking to upgrade the big three on a 00 EX, Batt - Gnd, Eng - Gnd , and Alt to Batt Posi. For people that have done this before im just wondering where the wires are. I know the batt- gnd, but as for the alt to the batt, i lose the wire from the alt behind the intake. Also where is the engine to chassis ground? more then one?[/align]

Make your own grounds. And your confusing your power wire for the starter wire, thats the one that goes into the intake. Find the alternator and follow it to the battery. As for the grounds it is block to chasis n chasis to battery. But the more grounds the better .

i only have 2 wires that run to my posi on my bat, 1 goes to starter, the other to my fuse block.

My alt wire runs from my alt then wrapped in condoit with the main harness, then goes to my fuse block, then to my battery

Well run one from where that wire is bolted on the alt directly to the battery, just put a fuse on it.

It is a very good addition to your electrical system. Doing this in 0 gauge wire allows MUCH more current to flow through the electrical system. Just think of it like this, stock wiring is usually 8 gauge. Imagine water going through a faucet. If you have the faucet half way open (8 gauge wire) water comes out but not a lot, but if you open it all the way (0 gauge wire) a lot of water comes out.

It is easy to do. GEt some 0 gauge wire and some rings, make one wire go from the bat + to the alt + and one from the frame to the block and one from the frame to the battery -.
