well what ohm load are your subs setup at right now? 8,4,2,1ohms?
those numbers make a huge difference when buying a amplifier!
if 8 or 4ohms then most 2channels amps bridged would work good... if 2 or 1ohm then youd need a mono channel amp...

tho id always sugest a mono amp... might just have to rewire the subs alittle if thier voice coil configurations will allow it...

the ohm load makes a difference.......

8ohms 75watts
4ohms 150watts
2ohms 300watts
1ohm 600watts

and some amplifier put out max power at 2ohms... and some put out at 1ohm max power.... and some are at 4ohms...

why buy a 1ohm1200watt amplifier and hook it up at 2ohm subwoofer and only get 600watts outta the amp?

most people when buying stereos dont realize what ohm load and sensitivity on the subs means..
BUT when they hook up thier equipment THEY SWEAR... ya THIS POUNDS HARD....LOL ya DONT LIE..... DONT DENY IT.... ive been thier done that!!!!!!!!! laughed at my damself....LOL

i really dont know what ohms they are. I just know the 2 subs are bridged so that i plug them in on one side

well if ya want the right amplifier for them ya need to know what they are..... and how they are wired together... thiers 3 ways to wire up some subs.... series, parrellel, and series parrellel......

what brand andmodel subs you got? some come in optional voice coils... and most are standard....

or find someone around ya that has a multimeter... and check the ohm load on those speaker wires.......
