In an 05 you dont need to drop the driver underdash or the glove. Just the part below the climate controle bezel and about the center console. Then there are some 8mm/phillips screws pointing up (heads pointing down) then the whole stereo/climate control bezel pops out.

 

^hmmm, I thought you had to remove those just to get to the screws. Maybe Im getting to mixed up with the 6th gens.
